Long Pack Games & Toys will be an exhibitor (booth #: 156) at GenCon 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana next week! The convention will be held from August 4th-7th 2022.  GenCon is one of the biggest board game conventions in the U.S with a lot of attention from board game publishers and enthusiasts. This awesome event is a place to meet friends and make new memories. The changes that the pandemic brought to everyone did not dissuade them from coming back this year. Participating in the event is an expressive way to celebrate glorious game development heritage, culture, and traditions; as well as to meet new and old faces while most importantly, having fun. We are happy to welcome all of you to this year’s GenCon event!  Our overseas team, Martin Cubberley, Nils Herzmann, Slawwomir Czuba, Robert Merickel, Jason McCracken, Dan Cotrupe, and Matt Da Cruz will be attending the show and bring along a great list of games and toys that are manufactured by Long Pack. Let’s meet face to face and have fun together! If you would like to have a meeting to speak with one of our representatives at the convention, please send an email to toys@longpack.com or contact your account manager from the LongPack team. The Shanghai Municipal Health Commission announced on June 30, 2022 that there has been no more newly confirmed local COVID cases and local asymptomatic infections in Shanghai recently .  On the same day, news from the Shanghai Government : In accordance with the efficient coordination of epidemic prevention,  we can go anywhere we want since today.  This means no more areas in Shanghai will be designated as “high risk” by the government and millions of residents in Shanghai will no longer remain confined in their homes. It is a lot more convenient for the majority of people in Shanghai to travel domestically now. Neighboring provinces and cities have also adjusted their rules for visitors from Shanghai.  In the last three months, Shanghai has experienced the world’s strictest lockdown to combat the COVID-19 wave. It’s just like this major economic hub pressed a ‘pause’ button. However, this time, the beautiful and busy city of Shanghai has finally returned!  Apart from world’s largest port and the manufacturing plants, transportation and retail businesses are also fully functional and operations have resumed and operating normally again. What a wonderful feeling it is to have to be able to walk into Shanghai Disneyland again! The vibrant flowers and trees make the outdoor space in public areas and parks even more colorful! From today, we can enjoy more panoramic views of the pleasant natural beauty of this city and spend our weekends and leisure time with family and friends outdoors again!  Welcome back Shanghai !
